CPU signs four practice management clients in Q1

CPU, a medical billing and practice management software system provider in San Diego, added four new customers to its Web MED/FM client base in the first quarter of 2008.

CPU landed four deals for its web-enabled practice management system, Web MED/FM, including: American Billing Services of Portland, Ore.; Desert Medical Imaging of Indian Wells, Calif.; Professional Business Services of Springfield, Ill.; and X-Ray Professional Associates of Concord, N.H.

With features such as trend reporting, integrated document management, and electronic claim submission, Web MED/FM provides the tools healthcare and medical billing organizations need to function at their highest level, according to CPU.

MED/FM and Web MED/FM software supports more than 15,000 physicians across the United States.
