DeJarnette Research Systems (Booth 5423) is demonstrating its dyseCT automated CT segmentation product. 2008 saw the release of dyseCT VMS and software version 4.0. It continues to improve the automated segmentation algorithm, and for the first time, provides a simple-to-use verification and quality control user interface as a backup to the product’s automatic body segmentation capabilities. This user interface addresses the issues associated with handling of automatic segmentation algorithm failures. Customers experience algorithm failures due to CT technologist error, RIS data entry error and complex, abnormal patient anatomy. dyseCT’s new verification GUI allows for a greatly simplified recovery from these errors and allows end-users to more easily integrate dyseCT into their daily workflow routine, the company says.
