Eclipsys to supply clinical, financial services to Premier

Eclipsys has signed an agreement to become a contracted supplier of its Sunrise Enterprise clinical and financial services for Premier, a healthcare group purchasing organization.

The agreement gives Eclipsys greater access to the more than 1,700 acute care hospital members of the Premier alliance as well as more than 49,000 other healthcare sites, according to the Atlanta-based Eclipsys.

The company said its sales force will continue to sell the company's solutions directly to the San Diego-based Premier participating members with marketing and sales support from Premier.
