Kansas hospital selects Digisonics applications for OB ultrasound
Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kan., has selected Digisonics to provide its clinical reporting and database platform for obstetric (OB) ultrasound.
The hospital will install multiple OB-Windows Net systems for both hospital and web-based reading of their OB studies, according to the Houston-based Digisonics.
The company said additional HL7 interfaces will provide real-time communication with its Meditech system and DICOM Report-to-PACS will automate the conversion of Digisonics reports to DICOM files for storage to their Fuji Synapse PACS system.
The 194-bed Hays Medical Center, which includes the DeBakey Heart Institute, admits more than 6,600 patients annually.
