Aurora wins breast MRI install in Indiana
Breast MRI North in the Breast Diagnostic Center of Community Hospital North, a joint venture with Irvington Radiologists and Community Hospital North, in Indianapolis, has installed the Aurora 1.5 Tesla dedicated breast MRI from Aurora Imaging Technology.
"The statistics for breast cancer in Indiana are promising, but we know more can be done to tackle this disease," said Olivia Ho Cheng, president and CEO, Aurora. "The Aurora System's advanced MRI technology is well-suited to help fight breast cancer through early detection, diagnosis and treatment monitoring.”
The Aurora System is the only FDA-cleared dedicated breast MRI system specifically designed for 3D bilateral breast imaging, according to the North Andover, Mass.-based company.
