GE, Satyam ally to provide healthcare IT services

Satyam Computer Services in Hyderabad, India, has joined forces with GE Healthcare to enroll consultants in GE’s certification exam programs for its Centricity Enterprise software.

Satyam and GE will cooperate to plan, design and implement infrastructures for healthcare providers. They will also perform application integration and tailor products and services for providers, according to Satyam.

Beginning in the fourth quarter of 2008, Satyam said it will be the first global systems integrator to start enrolling consultants in new GE certification exam programs for Centricity Enterprise software.

The agreement grew from close cooperation between the companies in the Middle East and India, Satyam said.
