Calgary Scientific, Intuitive Imaging unveil web-based advanced viz solution
Calgary Scientific Medical Group, a provider of advanced visualization and analysis software for original equipment manufacturer integration, unveiled a web-based thin client solution during this year’s Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting.
The solution was demonstrated in conjunction with the firm’s partner, Intuitive Imaging Informatics and its ImageQube web-based PACS.
The web server edition of Intuitive’s ResolutionMDTM supports the increasing demand for access to high resolution CT and MRI studies without requiring dedicated visualization workstations. The thin-client approach allows radiologists and their colleagues to perform sophisticated visualizations via a web browser securely connected to the network or the internet, according to Martin Pfaff, president and CEO of Intuitive Imaging.
“Our customers are looking for seamless access to advanced visualization tools across their medical enterprise from the ImageQube PACS and Calgary Scientific’s new web server platform and their focus on easy-to-learn interfaces is the ideal combination,” Pfaff said.
