Kubtec X-Ray

Kubtec X-Ray (Booth 1345) is introducing a new specimen radiography system, the Xpert 20, designed exclusively for the biopsy suite.

The Xpert 20 is available with either a 50-mm x 50-mm detector or a 100-mm x 50-mm detector in a self-contained, shielded cabinet x-ray system that takes up less space than a PC monitor.

A small focal spot x-ray source provides increased visibility and sharpness of detail for lesions and abnormalities in breast tissue samples. With an x-ray source of up to 25 kV and 1.0 mA, the Xpert 20 provides high-resolution images that help locate the smallest micro-calcifications.

All systems include DICOM-compliant software with automatic exposure control, auto-calibration, automatic window leveling, the capability to send multiple images with annotations to PACS, and zero warm up time, according to Kubtec.
