Cerner to offer Zynx Health plans of care with its inpatient EMRs

Zynx Health and Cerner, a supplier of healthcare IT solutions, are expanding their existing strategic relationship to include ZynxCare, software used to customize and maintain interdisciplinary plans of care.

Currently, Cerner offers ZynxOrder, an application used by hospital clients to customize and update evidence-based order sets, with its Cerner Millennium computerized provider order entry solution, according to the Los Angeles-based Zynx.

Under the expanded agreement, Cerner will also offer ZynxCare, which will bring evidence-based knowledge to clinical teams at the point of decision making, providing clinicians with access to more than 150 customizable interdisciplinary plans of care, the company said.
