INFINITT releases TeleRIS
INFINITT North America, a web-based image and information management solutions company, has developed a TeleRIS module that allows radiology reading services to provide hosting capabilities to their referring customers.
The Phillipsburg, N.J.-based INFINITT said its TeleRIS module was developed to meet the needs of a large radiology reading service in Texas, where fellowship-trained radiologists read images from 23 imaging facilities. The service previously needed to log in to a separate system for each facility, but now archives the images, orders, technologist notes and patient information from a single workstation/viewer, according to the company.
Sites can push images directly from the modality to the reading center, and fax any related paperwork directly to the reading center's TeleRIS module, the company said.
