Philips, PULSION extend patient monitoring systems partnership
PULSION Medical Systems, a provider of minimally invasive cardiovascular monitoring, and Philips Healthcare have agreed to extend their strategic partnership to include future integration of the PULSION technologies into Philips patient monitoring systems.
Philips was the first manufacturer of patient monitoring systems to integrate PULSION’s flagship technology PiCCO. Since then, more than 11,000 modules have been installed worldwide, the München, Germany-based PULSION said.
PULSION said that signing the agreement marks a further step in its strategy of market penetration of its product lines by integration into multi-parameter monitoring systems of the medical technology manufacturers.
