California medical center deploys Data Distributing DISCO

Saddleback Memorial Medical Center of Laguna Hills, Calif., has installed Digital Secure Copy (DISCO) from Data Distributing.

DISCO is an automated chart copy solution that interfaces directly with an EMR, or can be standalone with a scanner to produce chart copies on a disc. DISCO is a bundled solution comprised of Rimage Disc publishing hardware and application software. DISCO indelibly prints patient identifiers directly on each CD for easy identification and quick shipment. Discs can be produced on demand or merged and batch-printed after hours, according to the Santa Cruz, Calif.-based Data Distributing.
