NovaRad unveils archive solution for live motion studies

NovaRad has released its NovaMotion to archive, retrieve and view live motion studies such as barium swallow, endoscopies and colonoscopies within NovaPACS and electrocardiograms.

NovaMotion captures and converts a live motion study into a DICOM standard, according to the American Fork, Utah-based NovaRad. The file can be exported as a DICOM, AVI or JPG file.

“With NovaMotion, radiologists can simplify and speed how they view live motion studies and share and manage studies with referring physicians,” said Tyler Harris director of implementation at NovaRad. “The functionality of this new system helps further improve efficiencies, increase productivity and recaptures storage space required for discs or tapes.”
