Pueblo Radiology Medical Group has signed a deal with MedCurrent, a provider of physician practice management solutions, to use the firm’s web-based insurance eligibility verification tool, MedCurrent Verify, at its imaging centers in California.

The 22-radiologist practice will use MedCurrent Verify to connect to databases from more than 350 U.S.-based insurance carriers via the web to automate eligibility verification and secure real-time patient coverage information. Pueblo Radiology is currently using MedCurrent Verify in a standalone manner, but works are in progress to integrate it into the practice’s RIS to streamline efficiency, the company reported.
