British hospital deploys Siemens digital fluoroscopy system

Pinehill Hospital, a private hospital in Hertfordshire, England, has installed Siemens Healthcare’s Axiom Luminos dRF digital fluoroscopy system for urinary tract exams and for arthrography imaging.

Siemens said the digital capabilities of its Luminos dRF have assisted with improving patient throughput at the hospital. Images can then be manipulated for optimal viewing by adjusting contrast levels.

Pinehill has 22 single rooms and three twin-bedded rooms suitable for parent and child occupancy with a day surgery unit with 10 bed trolleys is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.
