Medrad extends imaging services

Medrad Multi-Vendor Service has extended its imaging equipment service offering for third-party, field-based service on various brands of dry imagers and CR modalities such as Carestream's Kodak Medical, Afga HealthCare and Fujifilm Medical Systems.

Because Medrad does not manufacture and sell imaging products, it can offer service on many brands of dry imagers and peripherals, along with CR systems.

The Warrendale, Pa.-based company said its field service engineers can provide:
  • Troubleshooting and repair;
  • Preventive maintenance;
  • Installation;
  • De-installation;
  • System configuration;
  • Replacement parts; and
  • Technical support.
