Initiate Systems, Accenx partner

Health information exchange provider Accenx has formed a partnership with Initiate Systems to offer managed, remote hosting of Initiate Patient for healthcare customers.

The first customer for the joint solution is OhioHealth, a system of 15 hospitals, 20 health and surgery centers, home-health providers, medical equipment and health service suppliers in a 46-county area.

Initiate Patient is used as an enterprise master person index (EMPI) for healthcare organizations and government agencies to transform business processes by delivering data to them, according to the Chicago-based Initiate and the Irvine, Calif.-based Accenx.
