M*Modal partners with Scribe Healthcare

Scribe Healthcare Technologies of Lake Forest, Ill., has incorporated M*Modal Speech Understanding technology into its web-based medical dictation, transcription and archive solutions.

The Scribe platform provides a set of tools for the creation, production, storage, communication, sharing and analysis of clinical information. AnyModal CDS (Conversational Documentation Services), designed in a similar fashion, captures and comprehends clinical information from dictation, transforming it into retrievable and shareable electronic files, the Pittsburgh-based M*Modal said.

The accessible clinical information repository is built to be accessible anywhere at anytime to allow timely, but secure patient information exchange and transmittal. The web-native applications are cost-effective, requiring no upfront software or hardware purchases, according to M*Modal.
