New England radiology provider chooses Sectra RIS

Shields Health Care Group, a Quincy, Mass.-based independent provider of diagnostic imaging services, has chosen Sectra as its RIS provider.

As part of the agreement, Sectra will deliver RIS products, integration services and direct support to Shields over a multi-year period. Shields expects to lower operating costs in excess of $2.2 million over the next five years through utilization of the technology, according to the Linköping, Sweden-based company.
