Philips unveils Smart Results OB for ultrasound

Philips Healthcare has released its Smart Results OB reporting and image-management solution for practice workflow and entry-error prevention.

According to the company, Smart Results OB takes data from an ultrasound system and populates report fields. Reports can be shared with referring physicians via email or fax, and completed reports can be stored to an EMR or PACS. Gestational tables, growth curves and pathology lists are customizable and accessible via a workstation or through the Internet.

Smart Results OB is available now in the United States and is expected to be available in Canada this fall, according to Philips.
