Advocate scores more billing agreements

Advocate, a provider of radiology billing and practice management services, has been awarded exclusive billing agreements with several radiology practices and imaging providers.

Radiology & Imaging Specialists in Lakeland, Fla.; Jefferson Regional Diagnostic Centers in Pittsburgh, Pa.; Coastal Radiology Associates in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Comprehensive Radiology Services in Hattiesburg, Miss.;  and Servant Medical Imaging in Tulsa, Okla.,  have all contracted with Advocate for radiology billing services.

Columbus, Ohio-based Advocate provides a full range of billing services encompassing their proprietary suite of billing process software functionality called Experienced Based Technology (EBTTM). According to the company, Advocate's EBTTM software aids in claim acquisition and purification, eligibility verification, real-time claim status, payment compliance, denial management, accounts receivable follow-up, reduction of days in accounts receivable levels and charge capture verification.
