Centegra to implement GE Centricity EMR

Centegra Health System of McHenry, Ill., has selected GE Healthcare’s Centricity Enterprise EMR, an integrated clinical, financial and administrative healthcare IT system.

GE said its EMR includes pre-configured clinical templates for best practices in clinical workflows, which helps hospitals collect, analyze and report quality improvement metrics, and are designed to improve the detection, diagnosis and treatment of care.

Components of Centricity include computerized provider order entry, clinical documentation, perioperative and perinatal care, RIS, PACS and an integrated financial suite for patient accounting and billing, according to the company.

Centegra said it will begin the implementation of GE’s integrated line of Centricity solutions immediately.
