eClinicalWorks nets N.Y. contract
eClinicalWorks’ EHRs and practice management software have been selected by New York’s Catholic Independent Practice Association (CIPA) for its ambulatory care offices and select physician offices in Buffalo, N.Y.
CIPA will host the solution via a software-as-a-service model, allowing participating physicians access to the system through a secure Internet connection.
A total of 150 providers will be involved in the process, with the possibility of expansion, said the Westborough, Mass.-based eClinicalWorks. The company also said it will work with CIPA to tie into HEALTHeLINK, the local regional health information organization (RHIO).
