Insight Imaging cuts losses in Q1

Medical imaging service provider Insight Imaging saw a downturn in sales while trimming net losses for the firm's fiscal 2010 first quarter, which ended Sept. 30.

The Lake Forest, Calif.-based firm reported revenues of $50.1 million for the period, a 20 percent slump compared with the $62.6 million in sales the company booked for the first quarter of fiscal 2009.

On a positive note, Insight reduced its net losses to $6.59 million for the quarter, an improvement over the $7.23 million in net losses recorded for the same period the prior year.
