Siemens nets Sorian deal with N.Y. healthcare system

United Health Services has inked a multi-year agreement with Siemens Healthcare for the installation of its Web-based healthcare information system (HIS), Soarian, into the multi-facility healthcare system.

The implementation of Soarian will facilitate workflows and meet the clinical, financial and administrative challenges of the Binghamton, N.Y.-based health system, said Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens.
