Florida health system selects Axolotl

Memorial Healthcare System of Hollywood, Fla., has selected Axolotl’s Elysium Exchange suite to access and share clinical information between physician practices and medical staff.

Memorial Healthcare System, a public, non-profit healthcare provider serving South Broward County in Florida, will soon deploy Elysium Exchange to clinically network their hospitals’ health information with disparate EMR systems in physician practices to achieve clinical interoperability, according to the San Jose, Calif.-based Axolotl. The company said its Elysium Exchange helps physicians to communicate electronically and exchange information across disparate EMRs, sharing referrals, laboratory results, radiology reports and other patient data.
