VA facilities implement GE anesthesia solution

GE Healthcare’s Centricity perioperative anesthesia solution has been implemented into the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) clinical information system, VistA.

The integration marks the completion of a certification process in which the anesthesia software was determined to be ready for use in VA facilities, said GE.

The technology offers features such as touch screens, care event document templates, procedure note scripts and a fee-billing component, said the company.
