Booz Allen Hamilton awarded $400K NIST contract

The National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) acquisition management division awarded a contract to McLean, Va.-based Booz Allen Hamilton for technical consulting services for the Health IT Certification Program to the tune of $399,976.

The award is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.

The contract is based on labor hours, as a fixed-price contract cannot be made at this time because the costs associated with performing the effort and the full parameters required to support NIST are not defined, according to NIST.
