Acumen nabs ONC cloud computing contract

Acumen Solutions has been selected to provide a cloud computing customer relationship management (CRM) and project management application to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC).

Acumen Solutions will implement a cloud computing CRM and project management system that regional extension centers (RECs) will use to track, manage and report on the ONC's REC initiative to encourage the adoption of health IT across the nation, according to the Vienna, Va.-based company.

The software will provide RECs with the ability to manage interactions with medical providers related to their selection and implementation of an EHR system, Acumen stated.
