N.J. hospital to deploy GE Centricity

East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, N.J., has signed an agreement to install the portfolio of GE Healthcare’s Centricity Enterprise.

Centricity Enterprise includes a CCHIT-certified inpatient EMR as well as administrative, departmental and revenue cycle software that will be implemented under GE’s Digital Day One to the 211-bed facility and its outpatient departments, the company said.

According to GE, Centricity Enterprise will be delivered remotely from GE’s Data Center under an application service provider (ASP) model.
