CRF taps White as director of meetings and ed services

Johnnie White, CMP, has been named the executive director of meetings and educational services at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF).

According to CRF, in the newly created position, which consolidated five departments, White will oversee the meeting planning, creative services, industry relations, continuing education sectors and CRF Web sites.

The division will work to develop new medical education initiatives, enhance physician training and education programs including the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference, the Chronic Total Occlusion Summit and Transcatheter Valve Therapies Workshop, according to CRF.

Prior to this new position, White served as the director of meetings and conventions at CRF since 2006 and worked as the director of meetings and CME services at the Bethesda, Md.-based Endocrine Society.
