Canon adds to projector line

Digital imaging company Canon has released its SX7 Mark II D with DICOM Simulation Mode, an addition to its REALiS Multimedia Projector line.

The technology allows for the viewing of monochrome digital x-rays, CT scans and MRIs with color and detail, and allows users to calibrate on the projector using 21 different levels of gamma adjustments, said the Lake Success, N.Y.-based company.
