Global Medical Imaging acquires ultrasound, nuc med provider

Ultrasound system provider Global Medical Imaging (GMI) has acquired Houston-based ultrasound and nuclear imaging provider Trident Imaging Services.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based GMI said that the combination of the two companies will expand their field service presence and scope of diagnostic medical imaging capabilities, and Trident customers will be offered  more available parts and repair capabilities as a result of the acquisition.
