Agfa, Etiam align to integrate and store media content

Cambridge, Mass.-based Etiam has signed an agreement with Agfa HealthCare for the global distribution of its medical integration solution, DICOM Izer.

The technology allows facilities to capture and connect multimedia data to the enterprise archive and EMRs. The applications make it possible for clinical information, including documents, images, video and reports to be digitally stored in Agfa's’ enterprise medical imaging repository, the Impax data center, said the Morsel, Belgium-based company.
