Samplify introduces ultrasound receiver module

Medical imaging technologies provider Samplify Systems has released a series of 32-channel ultrasound analog front-end receiver modules in a small-outline, dual-in-line configuration.

The new modules are integrated ultrasound receivers implementing the signal chain for 32 channels in density form factor. The modules can be mounted in two configurations: 46mm x 67.6mm in flat-mounting, and less than 10mm x 67.6mm in vertical mounting and the design provides a low consumption of 100 mW per receiver channel, according to the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company.

The modules will be available for early access at the 2010 China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), April 18-21 in Shenzhen, China. The company said the product is slated for release in the third quarter of this year.
