Ohio Hospital activates Eclipsys' EMR

Robinson Memorial Hospital of Ravenna, Ohio, is activating Eclipsys’ Sunrise Enterprise integrated suite to transition from paper-based reporting to an EMR platform.

According to the Atlanta-based company, Robinson Memorial will implement Eclipsys’ computerized physician order entry along with the company’s integrated pharmacy, emergency care, ambulatory care and clinical documentation applications.

The applications will provide a single, secure EHR across the enterprise to support medication safety with the Eclipsys’ Knowledge-Based Medication Administration, a bar-coded medication administration system, the company said.
