Agfa lands installs at Dutch university hospital

Diagnostic imaging and health IT provider Agfa Healthcare has signed an agreement with Academic Medical Center (AMC) Amsterdam in the Netherlands, to upgrade its existing PACS, and install a RIS and nuclear information system.

The university hospital has also agreed to the installation of Agfa HealthCare’s Impax 6 Data Center, its web-deployable image and information management system, which will enable AMC to become involved in the e-Radiology project, the sharing of radiology studies and reports within the Amsterdam region.
