Sinai Medical to go live with NextGen EHR in August
Sinai Medical Group will deploy NextGen Healthcare Information Systems' NextGen EHR and NextGen Practice Management software.
Implementation of the technology platform began in January, with the first clinic expected to go live in August, according to NextGen, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems based in Horsham, Pa.
Sinai Medical Group, a member of the Chicago-based Sinai Health System, is a faculty group practice consisting of almost 200 physicians who provide a range of medical and surgical specialty care, according to NextGen.
NextGen EHR’s disease management templates will allow Sinai providers to capture data at the point of care. The EHR features pre-built clinical templates and workflow for more than 25 specialties for documentation. NextGen Practice Management will offer reporting capabilities that can be leveraged to track quality improvement measures, NextGen added.
