SonoSite, Physio-Control partner to market ultrasound systems

SonoSite and Physio-Control will partner to market and develop point-of-care ultrasound technology for the emergency medical services market.

With assistance from the Physio-Control sales team, the market development collaboration will allow Bothell, Wash.-based SonoSite to expand its ultrasound products to the pre-hospital environment.

According to SonoSite, the hand-carried ultrasound technology will help first responders diagnose patients by obtaining images at the scene of an accident.
