Tribridge acquires healthcare services practice

Tribridge, an IT services and business consulting firm, has purchased the privately held Mercatus Group, a managed healthcare services provider.

The Chicago-based Mercatus provides project-oriented consulting services to outsourced support services, including practice automation, billing optimization, EHRs and daily operations. Tribridge, based in Tampa, Fla., has a combined customer base of more than 350 clients in the health and life sciences sector, Mercatus said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
