Icon acquires Timaq, expands into Europe

Icon, has acquired Zurich-based Timaq Medical Imaging, which provides imaging services to pharmaceutical and biotech firms, for an undisclosed sum.

According to Dublin-based Icon, which provides outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, the acquisition will strengthen its existing medical imaging capabilities by giving the company a European base for medical imaging operations.
