Washington hospital selects Toshiba MRI

Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash., has installed a Vantage Titan MRI system from Toshiba America Medical Systems.

The system is being utilized for orthopedic, cardiac, general radiology and abdominal imaging exams, in addition to breast MR exams and liver diffusion, said Tustin, Calif.-based Toshiba.

The MRs’ 71-cm aperture and open bore, along with Toshiba’s Pianissimo technology, assist patients who are claustrophobic, bariatric or have renal compromise, said the company.
