Zynx lands Virginia CPOE order

Riverside Health System has integrated Zynx Health’s ZynxOrder evidence-based order sets into its EHR system.

The Newport News, Va.-based healthcare system, which includes Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, Riverside Tappahannock Hospital and Riverside Regional Medical Center, went live with a computerized physician order entry system in November 2009. The system had already implemented standardized order sets built with Zynx Health online tools starting in 2005, and now has integrated the 177 standardized evidence-based order sets, ZynxHealth said.

This integration will assist the access of evidence at the bedside and help improve patient care, the Los Angeles-based company stated.
