Mirada upgrades image presentation tool

Oncology imaging company Mirada Medical has released a software upgrade for its presentation tool for presenting medical scans in Microsoft PowerPoint, the Casebook 1.1.

The software offers new image visualization options and editing functions and operates as a plug-in to PowerPoint. In addition, it can support triangulated multi-planar reconstruction viewing of single or fused medical images, stated Mirada.

The new technology may be used as a stand alone program or fully integrated with Mirada’s clinical products including XD3, a multi-modality image analysis application, said the Oxford, England-based company.
