Press Ganey acquires Quality Indicator Project

Press Ganey Associates has acquired the Maryland Hospital Association's Quality Indicator (QI) Project division for an undisclosed amount.

The QI Project provides data and resources to help clients comply with reporting requirements and to improve the quality of care they deliver. The acquisition will add more than 500 hospitals to the total number of facilities that rely on Press Ganey solutions to meet clinical reporting requirements, according to Press Ganey, of South Bend, Ind.

To streamline efforts for clients, the QI Project's tools are housed in a web-based data center. Clients have a single vantage point for managing the performance measurement and assessment process from data collection and management to transmission and analysis, the company added.
