Sectra brings mobile mammo to Germany

Sectra has implemented its MicroDose Mammography technology into a mobile screening unit in Germany.

The private mammography clinic— Gemeinschaftspraxis für Diagnostische Radiologie und Nuklearmedizin, based in Frankfurt, Germany—which launched a mobile screening unit will now offer the technology, stated Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra.

In addition to Germany, Sectra said its mobile offering is currently available in Denmark, the U.K., Ireland and Australia and is pending FDA approval in the U.S.
