Orthopedic facility to integrate Imix DR with NovaPACS

Munster Orthopedic Institute in Munster, Ind., has selected Imix America’s ImixInmotion digital radiography (DR) system to be integrated with NovaRad’s NovaPACS.

The ImixInmotion uses a motorized vertical stand and self-supported overhead tube crane to allow extended range of motion and hands-free positioning for upright exams, Sterling, Va.-based Imix said. The system can be configured for single or dual digital detectors and will be installed and serviced by Michigan City, Mich.-based RPS Imaging, the companies stated. NovaPACS provides image retrieval, a full-feature viewer and a seven-year onsite archive with offsite emergency back-up, according the American Fork, Utah-based company.
