Louisiana hospital adds smart phone app

Fairway Medical Surgical Hospital, of Covington, La., has partnered with healthcare information software developer Healthagen to utilize the company’s iTriage smart phone app for clinical decision support.

iTriage provides technology offering clinicians medical information to make decisions about healthcare treatment; including information on symptoms, diseases and medical procedures, the hospital stated.

Smart phone users can download iTriage at no cost for their iPhone, iPod Touch, Palm or Android smart phones through the app stores, the hospital added.
