Sectra inks Canadian distribution deal

Xtron Imaging of Mississauga, Ontario, has signed a partnership agreement to become a distributor of Sectra’s digital mammography system, Sectra MicroDose Mammography, in Canada.

Sectra MicroDose Mammography, which is pending FDA approval, is characterized by its photon-counting technology, according to the Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra. Xtron has provided diagnostic imaging and mammography technologies and services to the Canadian medical community for approximately 20 years.
