Mayo chooses Eddas IQQA-Liver
Edda Technology has installed its volumetric assessment IQQA-Liver Enterprise program for pre-operative planning and post-surgical follow-up of liver procedures at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Edda's IQQA-Liver conducts real-time assessment and volumetric quantification of the liver, liver lobes, lesions, vessels and other intra-hepatic anatomies, with the aim of facilitating precise computer-assisted liver transplants, resection surgeries and minimally invasive procedures, the company said. Edda Technology, based in Princeton, N.J., develops computer assisted radiology and surgery products.
